Originally this was a bedroom, above.

 

 

We are above the kitchen in the new full bathroom and office.

They cleaned out the rest of the paneling.

 

They still have to remove it off the ceiling!

 

Here's a close up of the wall after the insulation was removed.

 

This is the hole the chimney left when they removed it. We are looking up into the attic.

 

They cut the floor out around the beams.
